Our group

COMEXPOSIUM was created from the alliance between two major players in the field of trade fair management - Comexpo and Exposium. This union stems from a shared commitment from their respective shareholders, namely the Chambre de Commerce et d’Industrie de Paris and Unibail-Rodamco.

A leading position

With turnover of €226 million in 2008 achieved with a portfolio of 121 events (trade fairs, conferences, business conventions), Comexposium is the number one events organiser in France. The Group is also ranked 5th in Europe.

The trade fairs organised by Comexposium (SIAL, Sima, Intermat, Cartes etc.) are often leaders in their line of business and represent essential opportunities for networking, doing business and making contacts. Comexposium is also a leading name in the field of consumer trade fairs (Salon de l’Agriculture, Foire de Paris, Salon du Cheval etc.) thanks to its unique capacity to stage events with a strong media focus, attracting several hundred thousand visitors.

Our undertakings vis-à-vis the DGCCRF [French General Directorate for Competition Policy, Consumer Affairs & Fraud Control (for use by professionals)


1. The Chambre de Commerce et d’Industrie de Paris and the Unibail-Rodamco Group have put forward their undertakings in the document below “Undertakings to the DGCCRF” (which you can print out or download as a PDF file), with a view to enabling the Minister for the Economy to declare that the operation to merge the conference/exhibition activities of the two parties is not likely to infringe the rules on competition in the markets in question.

2. In compliance with these Undertakings, Mr. Dominique Leger has been appointed Authorised Representative responsible for ensuring the Chambre de Commerce et d’Industrie de Paris and the Unibail-Rodamco Group strictly adhere to the Undertakings.
