2017| November

Comexposium formed a joint venture company, Comexposium-CSF (Shanghai) Ltd, to organize the annual China Stationery Fair.

2017| October

Comexposium acquires Adhesion Group S.A, including the Vinisud event, and its stake World Bulk and Wine Exhibition, increasing Comexposium’s stake in the event

2017| August

Comexposium acquires majority stake in the UK holding company Converse Media which organize Insight Events Sweden and Insight Events Denmark.

2017| July

Comexposium enters into joint venture with Amara Group to organize and develop auto shows in Indonesia, notably GIIAS (GAIKINDO Indonesia International Auto Show), the leading auto show in Indonesia.

In the same month, Comexposium acquires the group MFV which includes major Franchise trade shows and conferences in the United States (International Franchise Expo in New York, Franchise Expo West in Los Angeles, Franchise Expo South in Dallas) and Franquicias Feria International, the leading annual event in Mexico and The Franchise Show in London.

2017| February

Comexposium acquires the Cereals and Fruit Focus events of the Haymarket Media Group by creating a joint venture.
The same month, Comexposium acquires the company "Côté Salons", the organiser of the Aiguille en Fête BtoC event and the AEF Pro BotB event.

2016| September

Comexposium enhance its capital in the company SOPEXA thanks to a partnership with the PR group HOPSCOTCH. Comexposium holds completly the SIAL trade marks (International Food event).

2015| December

Comexposium acquires the FINAKI group, the organiser of landmark B2B events in Europe that bring together IT managers, their partners and IT experts.

2015| September

Comexposium strengthens its presence in the trade fair sector dedicated to works councils and public bodies by buying France CE, an existing trade fair organiser in this sector. The Comexposium division for trade fairs dedicated to French works councils now represents 54 gatherings each year in 33 cities.
In the same month, Comexposium acquires the Digital Marketing branch of dmg events (dmg events Digital Marketing), which organises ad:tech, iMedia and the ‘Digital Collective series’ Digital Gatherings, as well as B2B events in the United States, Japan, India, Australia, New Zealand and the United Kingdom.

2011| May

Comexposium consolidates its presence in the fashion world by acquiring Sodes (organiser of the Paris Prêt-à-Porter trade fair) in conjunction with WSN Developpement. WSN Developpement is headed up by Xavier Clergerie & Bertrand Foäche, with whom Comexposium already owns Who's Next, Première Classe and Paris sur Mode.

2010| December

Comexposium purchases the Foire d'Automne event created in 2005 by Patrick Lecetre and Marc Flandin. This event brings together 100,000 visitors and 450 exhibitors, and becomes the autumn edition of the Foire de Paris.

2009| September

Comexposium acquires E-Business, a company founded in 1996 by A. Laidet that has been organising professional gatherings since 2002, including E-Commerce Paris (350 exhibitors, 20,000 visitors in September 2008), E-Marketing Paris (150 exhibitors, 10,000 visitors in January 2009) and Démat Expo (100 exhibitors, 2,000 visitors in December 2008).
In the same year, Comexposium acquires DG Consultants, a company founded in 1997 by Gérard Rio that since 2001 has been organising Les Assises de la Sécurité business events, and Le Cercle dinner debates for professionals, and since 2013 the Roomn mobility business meetings.

2008| The creation of the Comexposium group

Unibail-Rodamco and the Paris Île-de-France Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCI) merged their conference/exhibition activities in early 2008 within two entities: Viparis, responsible for site management, and Comexposium, responsible for organising the trade fairs. Comexposium was created from the merger between the events activities of Exposium for Unibail-Rodamco and Comexpo for the Paris Île-de-France CCI. This merger created a world leader in events organising.
