April 29, 2020
Dear exhibitors, partners, visitors and friends who has followed CSF latest news,
The sudden outbreak of COVID-19 at the beginning of this year wreaked havoc in China. With the joint efforts from the government and people, achievements in pandemic control and prevention have been secured. Important progress has been made in resuming work and production and economic and social recovery has been accelerated. The coordinated efforts in epidemic prevention and economic and social development have generated positive results. However, the virus has spread rapidly in more than 200 countries around the world. Combating COVID-19 is no longer China's own issue, but a shared responsibility of every resident in the global village. At the meeting of the Standing Committee of the Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee on April 8th, General Secretary Xi Jinping emphasized that China would need to pay close attention to changes in the international and domestic epidemic situation for quite a long time, and must fully implement the strategy of guarding against imported cases and preventing a resurgence of the outbreak at home. On April 8th, Joint Prevention and Control Mechanism of the State Council of China issued a circular on further prevention and control work targeted at key areas, key institutions and key groups of people, requiring “activities involving gatherings should not be held, including sports event such as marathon matches, religious activities as well as exhibitions and expos.”
In view of these facts, in order to ensure the safety of exhibitors and visitors as well as the effectiveness of the exhibition, the organizer made the following adjustments to the 114th China Stationery Fair after in-depth consideration and consultation with relevant parties:
- The 114th China Stationery Fair is postponed to September 17-19, 2020;
- The venue of the 114th China Stationery Fair is changed to Hall 1.2 & 2.2 of the National Exhibition and Convention Center (Shanghai) at 333 Songze Avenue, Shanghai.
Although the exhibition is postponed, CSF has been actively communicating with partners and relevant government departments to make sure of the quality and order of the exhibition. We are also putting great effort in making plans to ensure the health and safety of all exhibitors and visitors and plans to cope with emergencies during the event. Meanwhile, cooperation with media and associations is being stepped up and steady progress is being made in marketing campaigns, buyer invitation, VIP buyer invitation and multi-channel professional visitor invitation through online and offline advertisement.
We will keep you informed with the issues related to date and venue changes so that you will have enough time to prepare for the exhibition. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact us at email@example.com. For the latest news of the 114th CSF, please follow the official website www.chinastationeryfair.com.
