As part of Comexposium APAC’s strategic expansion into the Vietnamese market, we are pleased to announce the appointment of Khiem Vu as Managing Director, Vietnam.

This appointment marks an important milestone in establishing and growing Comexposium’s presence in Vietnam, one of Southeast Asia’s most dynamic and rapidly developing exhibition markets. In his role, Khiem will lead our operations and business development initiatives in Vietnam.

Khiem is a seasoned professional in the exhibition industry with more than 10 years of experience spanning exhibitions, international trade, business development, and market expansion. His career reflects a unique combination of strong communication skills, strategic business acumen, and deep expertise in global commerce.

Khiem Vu will report directly to Elaine Chia, CEO, Comexposium APAC.

About Khiem Vu

Khiem began his academic journey in journalism, earning a Master’s Degree in International Journalism Studies from Hong Kong Baptist University in 2007. He later completed his MBA at the Chinese University of Hong Kong Business School in 2016. This combination of journalism and business education has enabled him to successfully bridge communication, strategy, and commercial leadership throughout his career.

Prior to joining us, Khiem was with Global Sources, part of Clarion Events, where he joined in 2015 and most recently served as Country Manager, Vietnam. In this role, he gained extensive experience in digital B2B marketplaces, supplier networks, buyer engagement, international sourcing ecosystems, and initiatives connecting Vietnamese exporters with global supply chains.

Before Global Sources, Khiem served as Program Advisor for the Developing Country Export Assistance Program at the Hinrich Foundation. In this role, he worked on initiatives supporting exporters and trade development, gaining valuable experience in international commerce and trade facilitation.
